Lois Samuels, a Jamaican-born artist, seamlessly blends her extensive background in fashion and design with her passion for ceramics. With a modeling career spanning collaborations with renowned Parisian fashion houses as Lacroix, Mugler, Miyake and Givenchy to covers of German Vogue and American Essence. She has also done campaigns for companies as Estée Lauder and Calvin Klein and is celebrated as one of the fashion industry’s pioneers.
Lois’ fashion designs have graced the pages of prestigious publications such as Vogue, L’Officiel, and The New York Times and presented on runways in Africa, South America and the New York Fashion Weeks.
Diversifying her artistic pursuits, Lois now channels her creativity into crafting one-of-a-kind hand-built ceramics, alongside seasonal signature pieces from her clothing capsule and other artworks including photography and collages.
Her journey has taken her from studying wood firing in Italy to establishing her pottery studio in the vibrant creative hub of Los Angeles.
Additionally, Lois is set to participate in an art residency in Greece this spring and is one of the seven female artists featured in the upcoming Female Gaze show with the Art Wolf Gallery.
